The central point of the program will be a solemn Holy Mass presided over by Robert Sarah - one of the most well-known and respected hierarchs of the Catholic Church in the world.
Cardinal Robert Sarah comes from Guinea and is one of the most important figures in the contemporary Church. At the age of 34, he was appointed Archbishop of Conakry by John Paul II, becoming one of the youngest bishops in the world. Over the years of his ministry, he has become known as a courageous witness of faith during times of persecution, as well as a profound theologian and author of acclaimed spiritual books such as God or Nothing and The Power of Silence.
At the Vatican, he served as Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, where he was responsible for liturgical matters throughout the entire Church. His teaching focuses on the importance of silence, prayer, and a return to the essence of spiritual life.
The presence of Cardinal Robert Sarah in Poland is an event of particular spiritual significance. His presiding over the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be a unique opportunity for festival participants to join in prayer and experience the living presence of God.
