EWTN stands for Eternal Word Television Network. We are the Polish branch of the international Catholic media family, founded in the United States in 1981 by the cloistered Poor Clare nun, Mother Angelica. Her work was valued and supported by John Paul II, who said: “EWTN is the key to restoring the role of the Roman Catholic Church.”
Today, EWTN reaches 150 countries and over 300 million households worldwide. Thanks to EWTN Poland, content about the Polish Church, our saints and witnesses to faith is present on EWTN stations across all continents.
The host of the „STRAIGHT PATH TO GOD” Festival is the 12 Stars Film Foundation. We create and promote films with social and religious themes, and we organize events that inspire reflection and build community. As part of our mission, we have produced films that have won numerous awards at international festivals and have organized several hundred screenings and lectures. Our mission also includes charitable outreach. After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, we began supporting Poles living in regions such as Podolia, Volhynia, and Zakarpattia.
Currently, we are particularly involved in the production of the film “The Dream of St. Maksymilian” – an independent production presenting the spirituality of Maksymilian Kolbe and the little-known story of his extraordinary dream, which is being fulfilled today, nearly 80 years later. We believe that the festival is also a space for co-creating good. That is why every participant can become a co-creator of this work - by supporting us with prayer, kindness, financial assistance and by sharing information about this important initiative.
The SMS from Heaven Foundation has been carrying out inspiring evangelization and humanitarian initiatives for over a dozen years, reaching hundreds of thousands of people in Poland and around the world. Our mission is to lead people to an encounter with God through modern forms of evangelization, social action, and concrete works of mercy.
Every month, we run projects supporting children, youth, couples, and entire families. We organize retreats, meetings, and large evangelization events such as “Jesus at the Stadium” and “Youth Stadium,” creating a space to experience the living God and build community.
A special work of the Foundation is the Talent Development Academy, where over a thousand people each year undergo formation, developing their talents and serving in parishes and communities. Every day, we also reach thousands of people through the SMS from Heaven app, the SMS from Heaven TV channel, and daily reflections on the Word of God, helping people discover God in everyday life.
Our activities also include concrete acts of help for others. Together with partners, we have supported the purchase of medical equipment for hospitals, assisted during the pandemic, and continue to engage in aid for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. We constantly seek new ways of reaching human hearts through evangelization initiatives that go beyond traditional frameworks.
We believe that every event is more than just a meeting – it is a space for creating good together. It is thanks to people with open hearts that we can continuously develop works that bring hope, love, and the Gospel. Everyone can become part of this mission – through prayer, kindness, support, and by passing on the good that transforms human lives.
