EWTN stands for Eternal Word Television Network. We are the Polish branch of the international Catholic media family, founded in the United States in 1981 by the cloistered Poor Clare nun, Mother Angelica. Her work was valued and supported by John Paul II, who said: “EWTN is the key to restoring the role of the Roman Catholic Church.”
Today, EWTN reaches 150 countries and over 300 million households worldwide. Thanks to EWTN Poland, content about the Polish Church, our saints and witnesses to faith is present on EWTN stations across all continents.
The host of the „STRAIGHT PATH TO GOD” Festival is the 12 Stars Film Foundation. We create and promote films with social and religious themes, and we organize events that inspire reflection and build community. As part of our mission, we have produced films that have won numerous awards at international festivals and have organized several hundred screenings and lectures. Our mission also includes charitable outreach. After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, we began supporting Poles living in regions such as Podolia, Volhynia, and Zakarpattia.
Currently, we are particularly involved in the production of the film “The Dream of St. Maksymilian” – an independent production presenting the spirituality of Maksymilian Kolbe and the little-known story of his extraordinary dream, which is being fulfilled today, nearly 80 years later. We believe that the festival is also a space for co-creating good. That is why every participant can become a co-creator of this work - by supporting us with prayer, kindness, financial assistance and by sharing information about this important initiative.
