The festival program has been arranged like a step-by-step journey, moving deeper and deeper — all the way to the very center, which is the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
One of the most remarkable moments of the festival will be three online connections. Through them, participants gathered at the Ergo Arena Gdańsk-Sopot will talk live with Catholics from various parts of the world. For a few moments, national and continental borders will disappear and we will see the vast community that the Church is.
The first connection will take us to Seoul in South Korea – the site of next year's World Youth Day. Father Jarosław Kamiński, SAC, will join the young people gathered in Korea. This will be an opportunity for a brief conversation and sharing the joy of faith in the young Church.
The second bridge will take us to the United States – to Alabama, where the global headquarters of EWTN Global Television Network is located. Thanks to this connection we will be able to speak live with a special guest of the event. For now, we will reveal only one detail: it will be a well-known and popular actor. This meeting will also show how many Catholics on the other side of the ocean live and celebrate their faith.
The third bridge will lead us to the heart of the Church – the Vatican. We cannot reveal the details of this connection yet, but we are preparing a special surprise for festival participants. Our desire is that the community gathered in Gdańsk will receive a blessing from the Vatican.
Internet bridges will allow us to see that faith unites people around the world and that the Church is a community that goes beyond borders.
Thanks to these encounters, festival participants will see that the Church is alive on every continent and that prayer can unite people even across thousands of kilometers.
